Our Story
It all started with a love for skincare tools.
Getting your skin ready for the day can be an absolute chore. From finding the right skincare products which work with your skin, to applying them perfectly, you're bound to run into a few snags along the way.
Gua sha is originated from ancient Chinese medicine and is best described as a manual technique that stimulates circulation by using a smooth object, like a gua sha tool, to gently glide along the facial muscles and skin.
The Birth of Our Unique Gua Sha
I've been practicing facial gua sha myself for about 3 years now, I've been through countless tools; many of which made of jade stone and rose quartz... which just smash as soon as you drop them.
But what made my mindset shift on jade, rose quartz, amethyst etc. was when I discovered these materials were porous. Porous means: (of a rock or other material) having minute interstices through which liquid or air may pass. Basically, this means all those gua sha and skincare tools I've been using on my clean skin could, but most likely, have been building up bacteria within them and soaking up my skincare products instead of allowing my skin absorb it.
The worst thing is, even manually cleaning the tools is unlikely to clean into those pores inside the tool. Me? Wasting skincare products? Me transferring bacteria built up inside minute pores inside my gua sha onto my clean skin? NO THANK YOU! Time for a swap...
But what for? Gua Sha tools have been seen as tools made of natural quartz bringing crystalline energy and all that stuff into my life - it would be a shame to let that go?

I did some researching and suddenly stumbled upon metallic skincare tools. Furious typing, many late night thoughts and scribbling in a notebook brought the Natur Kosmetikk Stainless Steel Gua Sha.

Finally, something that won't transfer my 3 nights ago old hyaluronic acid serum and bacterial remains back onto my freshly cleansed skin, rebelling against my rigid skincare routine.
Of course, 3 weeks into testing and allowing some of my other skincare enthusiastic friends to try this miracle out for themselves. I brought Natur Kosmetikk to life. (norwegian for nature cosmetics by the way)
I've seen my skin glow better than ever before, I've seen substantial jawline and cheekbone definition and most importantly for me, my skin feels just so healthy.
